THANK YOU FROM OUR TROOPS...
Hello to you and anyone else who may reading this,
I am a Technical Sergeant in the Air
Force...currently deployed to Kandahar in Afghanistan. Today one of our Airmen,
Senior Airman Anthony
XXXXXXXX, received boxes from your organization. Obviously he did not want to take all of those by himself, so he offered
up to share the boxes with everyone in our section. As we opened up the boxes, my eyes got bigger and bigger. I have a huge
craving for Girl Scout Thin Mint cookies, one of my many vices, and there were
loads of them. You could see everyone reaching for something that they had also had cravings for. People were trading for
their favorites that someone else may have had in their boxes for something someone else had. We were all like kids on Christmas day. It might seem funny to people back home if they watched grown men
getting so excited about what many would consider to be “just a few snacks or goodies”. But you would be surprised
at the little things you miss. Obviously we miss our families and friends back home, but we also miss some of the little things
too. You must get a lot of feedback from people as to what should go in the boxes. Or, you must have people that have been
deployed before telling you what you should put in there, because you hit almost all of us with something we really enjoyed.
I myself ate a whole tube of the thin mints within about 3 minutes. I know, I need to go work that off now. Ha!
I really just wanted to take a few minutes to say thank you.
Thank you for what you do for people like ourselves. It is so nice to see people doing these kinds of things for the deployed
men and women of the U.S. Forces. It is people such as yourselves that make our jobs here feel so much more worthwhile. And,
I want you to know that there were about 30 of us here that were smiling and indulging on some of our favorite snacks from
home. It touched me and I really just wanted to convey some gratitude to you and your organization. Please tell your volunteers
there that they are very much appreciated.
Thank you so much on behalf of myself and the people I work
with!
Sincerely,
TSgt Matthew XXXXXXXXX

To Operation: MOMS Cookies,
A big thank you from Baghdad!
Your box was a big hit with my group and was much appreciated just two days before Valentines Day. I especially
thank you for the "Buddy Box" - one of my troops had not received a package in several weeks. Thanks to the convenient
marking on the outside - he even has something to open!
It's great to know that we have hometown support. I grew up in and still
call Morris home. I am an active
duty Air Force officer stationed in Baghdad for six months. I know you sent many thanks, but we send
many more back your way. ...........
Enjoy the snow! I definitely miss home.

GODS SPEED SGM Tom as you return to Iraq for a successful
Mission completion and your safe journey back home! In our hearts and prayers!

MOMS,
Just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone for the generous and thoughtful care packages
you sent to our team. Because there was a specific note included I would like to extend a special thanks to Matt and
the Joliet Catholic Academy. It was shared by the entire team and it lifted the morale and spirits of everyone.
I have enclosed a copy of the team photo we took toward the beginning of this tour so you can see the faces of Soldiers you
support. It is our highest honor to serve our great Nation. However, it is because of patriotic Americans like
all of you that we can proudly wear the American flag on our sleeve and lace our boots every day. Thank you again for
all you do and God bless.
Sincerely,

Dear Operation: MOMS Cookies,
On behalf of the XXX Transportation Co, stationed in...Iraq, Thank
You!
The care packages we received are simply amazing and contained a little
piece of home that we have come to miss. As for me personally, I would not have imagined I would be munching down on
delicious Girl Scout Cookies, but life just got a little bit sweeter with the arrival of them. I also especially enjoyed
the coffee mug and the toiletry kit which I use when I go on a Mission. It also is nice to know that support from back
home is still strong and unwavering for us troops overseas. This support is what keeps many of us on track and persevering
in these uncertain times.
From the bottom of all of our hearts, thank you again for this wonderful
box of goodies.
Sincerely,
SGT JonXXXXX XXXXX

CHAPLAIN Richard of the U.S. Army and...
TOOTSIE POPS on ASSIGNMENT and NEEDED!
"Suckers for Soldiers" is the brain child of one of our Chaplain's serving his Soldier's overseas!
In the picture at left, you will see the POPS in the Soldiers' vest! His Soldiers now call his Charms Blow Pops
and Tootsie Roll Pops "GOD POPS"!
Here is his story:
He writes, "I wish you can see the way the Soldiers' faces light up when the suckers start
flying---and I mean flying"! He brings smiles as he tosses his pops while ending their Mission prayer...they line their
IOTV with lollipops...they roll out...alert, smiling and ready to face whatever may come with Chaplain's prayers and
GOD POPS! "And suddenly it is not just a matter of lifting a Soldier's spirits, it is keeping a Soldier awake, alert
and alive; it is no longer just a matter of bringing a smile to a child's face, it is helping to bring a child's daddy back
home" writes Chaplain!
Chaplain is running low on Blow Pops and so is MOMS!
CALLING for Charms Blow Pops & Tootsie Roll Pops!
GOD BLESS and GODS SPEED

I am emailing you because I have received one of your care
packages. I don't know how to thank you enough! When I opened on of the boxes, I found a blanket inside. I have needed
a blanket for some time because it is very cold here. I did not eant to ask anyone for a blanket, I would rather go without.
You have truly made this a blessed Christmas. The other Sailors came over to take items out of the box that they wanted.
This was a time for me to share and they were so happy. Thank you for all you do and your support.

My Soldiers and I have recently received our "Boxes of Home" and wanted
to extend our heartfelt thanks for the time, effort and care in putting the boxes together for us. My Soldiers commented
specifically about the Replenish electrolyte drink mixes. Operating in the hot and harsh environment, our Soldiers do
their fair share of sweating and welcome the chance of pulling a Replenish drink mix out of their cargo pocket and adding
it to their bottled water. The Soldiers also got a kick out of the foam balls.
We, as a nation, are truly fortunate to have supporters like you and
your volunteers behind us so we can continue to focus our efforts on defending the freedoms of our nation. Thank you
so very much.

Today I received one of your very well put together packages full of goodies. I
have been deployed to XXXXX now for almost 6 months and it was nice to see that there was an organization like yours so dedicated
to supporting us. I was having a pretty stressful week with my missions and it brought a smile to my face when I got
your package. You have no idea how large a small package of goodies is in our world. I wanted to personally thank
you again for all that your are doing to support the troops and thank you for the wonderful package.
Thank You,

Hello
I would like to write you because I have received a package from you.
I am very grateful for you in spending the time to pack me a package. Your generosity is not unnoticed and has brought
some joy into my heart knowing that there are people out there who care. I want to thank you specifically for the home
made goodies and the coffee cups. The goodies help to remind us why we are out here and what and who we are fighting
for and that is our families back home. The coffee cups were sure a treat and are used by my flight crew and myself.
My name is XXXXXXXXXX.
Thank you,
